‘Export values in June were a historical high’: Thai minister

(ChinaPost.com.tw) – Thai exports hit a record high in June as the country’s trade surplus widened, Commerce Ministry figures showed Thursday, bolstering expectations of robust economic growth. Exports grew 16.8 percent from a year earlier to US$21.07 billion, after a 17.6 percent rise in May and Commerce Minister Porntiva Nakasai said trade was likely to remain resilient despite a strengthening Thai baht and the European debt crisis.
